As one of the most important brands in the Turkish furniture industry, Mondihome introduced its new logo, renewed with the aim of becoming a global player and becoming one of the leading brands in Turkey in a short period of time, shared their new term strategies with the public at a press conference.
Mondihome, the young and dynamic brand of Erciyes Anadolu which is one of the most important holdings in Turkey and derives a significant part of its turnover from furniture and home decoration products, starts the next period with an ambitious increase to its growth target. Reaching consumers in Turkey and the world through 310 stores and an impressive export volume, Mondihome announced its renewed logo and new term strategies in line with 2023 targets to the public at a press conference.
Upon stating that as Erciyes Anadolu furniture group, they are working on doing their best to reach consumers around the globe to become one of the most important furniture industry players in the world, Erciyes Anadolu Holding CEO and Board Member Alpaslan Baki Ertekin said: “We have achieved remarkable gains towards the goals we have set, and are strengthening our infrastructure each passing day. In line with our country’s 2023 vision, we have positioned our export responsibility as our most important agenda. With its renewed logo, corporate identity and re-created vision, Mondihome will be one of the most important brands in achieving our global goals.”

Expressing that the locomotive sector of the group is furniture in terms of employment, Alpaslan Baki Ertekin said: “Our industry and investment journey continues . Underlining that as Erciyes Anadolu Holding, they have the largest integrated facilities in the world with a production area of nearly 1 million m² in the field of furniture, CEO Ertekin said: "In line with the 100th anniversary goals of our Republic, economic stability and positive expectations open many doors in the business world, while also bringing various responsibilities. Mondihome Gets Redesigned Completely
Explaining the renewed logo and corporate identity design and application processes at the meeting, Mondihome General Manager Bilal Uyanık stated that Mondihome is in constant change in order to respond better to consumers’ needs in the most appropriate way and to greet changing consumer expectations and trends. Stating that they have created a brand new logo and corporate identity that corresponds with their new growth targets under the "Renew Life" motto, Uyanık added: “For this project, our consultant was New & Old. We acted on a modest budget to redesign our logo and implement all the applications in the field. Our sales points and dealers also supported the process of change and transformation by renewing their own stores, and they continue to support us."
Mondihome General Manager Bilal Uyanık continued as follows: “We have renewed ourselves with the idea of a brand new Mondi. Mondihome is, so to say, reborn with its new logo and corporate identity. We open up a new dimension with our new orange colored logo, which is the color of warmth and sincerity, and the heart icon symbolizing eternity and love is reminiscent of Mondi's letter M. With our renewed logo, we carry our industry position as well as the image and perception of our brand to higher levels.
We are building a stronger and warmer bond with our consumers, and are on the verge of experiencing a new union that extends to eternity. In recognition of our potential in the industry as a brand that presents consumers with a variety of products to enrich home life, our emphasis is on expansion and development under this umbrella with our new Mondihome name. So far, the change and transformation of nearly 120 Mondihome stores have been completed. The remainder will have been completed by the end of the year when the interior decorations at all of our 310 stores will have been renewed to reflect our emerging corporate identity. Mondihome is a brand has earned a place in consumers' homes over the past 30 years and has been adding value to their living spaces. Witnessing the brand’s outreach to more and more consumers each year on its growth journey has been ambitious and exciting, constituting our greatest motivation. Our excitement has been augmented with our renewed logo, helping us to achieve a more intimate and close relationship with our consumers.”
Aiming for Industry Leadership
Assessing the brand's plans and programs, Bilal Uyanık said: “With our renewed corporate identity, we take strides towards our 2023 vision with the implementation of a determined program, where we have revised existing targets for the next period. Currently, as one of the top five brands in the industry, we have several plans in place to achieve the accomplishment we strive for. An investment budget of close to 50 million TRY is planned for the end of 2020 on an array of subjects including the augmentation of indoor areas by nearly 40%, as well as renovating and reinforcing our equipment. Accordingly, in 2020, Mondihome will continue to manufacture all its products under one roof. On the other hand, we will create stores that will make shopping enjoyable for our consumers in 2020 by increasing the display areas in the sales points by 70%. With these goals in mind, we will increase the number of stores, which is 310, to 420 in 2020 and 550 in 2023. In terms of employment, we also foresee an increase in the number of white and blue-collar employees by about 60% in the next period. We will be amongst the Turkish furniture industry’s top five companies for exports, achieving geometric growth in exports by 2023. Along with infrastructure projects, our medium-term goal is to aggressively increase our market share and become one of the leading brands in the industry.”
