Özcan Özyurt is a senior executive with over 35 years of management experience in various sectors, primarily finance, construction, tourism, and retail, demonstrating multifaceted leadership skills.
A graduate of the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration, Özyurt began his professional career in 1989 as an Assistant Inspector in the Inspection Board of Şekerbank T.A.Ş., continuing as an Inspector in the same institution in 1993.
Between 1998 and 2001, Özyurt served as Branch Manager at Şekerbank's Şirinevler and Çerkezköy stores in Istanbul and Tekirdağ, achieving significant success in productivity, customer satisfaction, and store profitability.
From 2001 to 2004, he served as General Manager at Gürhan Kuyumculuk A.Ş. The company's production and retail sales were institutionalized, growth expanded, and the organization provided leadership in various dimensions.
Between 2004 and 2023, Özyurt served as General Coordinator at Delta Proje İnşaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and its affiliated companies; successfully managing critical components such as investment development, project financing, budget management, and resource portfolio in the construction and tourism sectors. This experience, spanning approximately 20 years, has enabled him to play an effective role in many regions with significant differences.
Between 2023 and 2025, he served as General Manager and Board Member at Dilan Polat Group Companies, which were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF).
Özcan Özyurt is married with two children and speaks English.
