As one of the leading brands of the Turkish furniture industry, İstikbal continues its investments abroad without slowing down. Operating under the roof of Erciyes Anadolu Holding, the company is expanding its franchise network in sister country Azerbaijan.
Putting its renewed 3000 m² store in Baku, the capital, to Azerbaijanis disposal, the Company opened its new 700 m² store in Sumgait city. Having launched its first store in the territory of its sister country in 2003, İstikbal has added its 8th to the chain of stores in the country with its recent opening.
Along with several invitees, Muhiddin Gülal, Chairman of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund, Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, CEO of Erciyes Anadolu Holding, Mehmet Ali Yörük, General Manager of İstikbal Mobilya, attended the opening ceremony.
Making a speech in the opening ceremony, Muhiddin Gülal, Chairman of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund thanked those who contributed and said: “İstikbal brand makes us more proud every day. I hope that we will perform the openings of new stores all together.”
Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, Erciyes Anadolu Holding CEO, also emphasized the brotherhood between the two countries. "We are the single teardrop flowing through two eyes. We are supporting each other, united as one. We are the two states and one nation, proud of the same victory.” Ertekin also expressed, “I congratulate the Azerbaijani people and the Azerbaijani army who planted the flag of Turkish people in Karabakh.” Ertekin also thanked the Gasimov family, the store owner, for their achievements and efforts.
Mehmet Ali Yörük, General Manager of İstikbal Mobilya, said that İstikbal will continue its path as the largest brand of Azerbaijani furniture industry with its increasing strength.
In recent years, the development of the Azerbaijani economy and the brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan are increasing the demand for Turkish products. The fact that İstikbal Mobilya has 95 percent awareness throughout the country and does not compromise on quality also creates a never-ending trust in the brand.
Aiming to increase the number of stores in the sister country, İstikbal plans to open stores in Karabakh and the south of Azerbaijan in the coming period. Erciyes Anadolu Holding has a total of 13 stores in Azerbaijan; eight İstikbal, four Bellona and one Mondihome.
