ERCIYES ANADOLU HOLDING INCREASED ITS REVENUE BY 52.8% IN 2021, REACHING 20.852 BILLION TURKISH LIRA, COMPARED TO 13.644 BILLION TURKISH LIRA IN 2020. THE COMPANY ALSO RAISED ITS NET PROFIT BY 62.4% TO 2.652 BILLION TURKISH LIRA, UP FROM 1.633 BILLION TURKISH LIRA.
Erciyes Anadolu Holding held a press conference in Kayseri to announce its financial results for 2021 and discuss its future goals and strategies. During the conference, the CEO and Member of the Board of Erciyes Anadolu Holding, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, provided a detailed presentation on the company's activities and highlighted its continuous contribution to the country's economy through steady financial growth and sustainable expansion.
"Since I took office in 2018, we have been achieving a consistent momentum in our financial results, adding strength and value to the national economy with our sustainable growth strategy," said Dr. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin.
He emphasized that Erciyes Anadolu Holding is one of Turkey's most robust industrial groups, with six group companies listed in the "Top 500 Industrial Enterprises" and gaining increasing profits and creating employment in sectors such as furniture, textiles, iron-steel, and sponge. Ertekin proudly stated, "We are contributing to the country's economy and take pride in our achievements."
Speaking about the financial growth of the holding, Ertekin mentioned, "Our revenue, which was 13.644 billion in 2020, increased by 52.8% to 20.852 billion Turkish Lira by the end of 2021, and our net profit rose from 1.633 billion Turkish Lira to 2.652 billion Turkish Lira."
Addressing the importance of contributing to the Turkish economy through exports in challenging market conditions, Dr. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin stated, "Despite the pandemic conditions in 2020 and 2021, we continued to achieve successful results in international markets with our disciplined management approach and trust in our country, thus continuing to generate foreign exchange for our nation. In 2020, our group's exports, which were 388 million US dollars, increased by 30.2% to reach 505 million US dollars. Additionally, our tax payments to the state increased by 76% from 899 million Turkish Lira in 2020 to 1.584 billion Turkish Lira by the end of 2021."
Regarding the group's investments, especially in the renewable energy sector, CEO Ertekin mentioned that RHG Enertürk Enerji, which recently obtained an electric vehicle charging network operation license, saw a significant increase in total investment from 477 million Turkish Lira in 2020 to 2.518 billion Turkish Lira, a rise of 427.9%.
