Turkey's pride, Istikbal, has added another overseas store to its chain in Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony of the store, held in Baku on October 17, was attended by Mr. Ahmet Erdal, the Commercial Counsellor of the Republic of Turkey in Azerbaijan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, Member of the Board of Directors & CEO of Erciyes Anadolu Holding, Hülya Bal, Export Manager of Istikbal Furniture, Istikbal Furniture executives, and numerous high-level guests.
During the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Erciyes Anadolu Holding, said, "Our companies are leaders in their respective sectors, with 5 of our 8 companies being industry leaders in Turkey. Besides being the leader in the furniture sector in Turkey, Istikbal Furniture operates in 57 countries. With an impressive scene in terms of employment and production, we are here for the opening of the 9th Istikbal store. Personally, I also proudly use Istikbal products in my home. As countries, we achieved a trade volume of 4.6 billion dollars with Azerbaijan last year. Our Presidents' target for the coming years is 15 billion dollars.
